A Message from Jill (Alexis Mom)

To all donors and artists,

Thank you so much for your support and donations for Seattle Children's Neuroblastoma research.
Neuroblastoma is an awful disease with the survival rate being only 20%, your dollars and donations will go to help finding a cure for this horrific disease. Our little Alexis has been fighting thru this battle since she was 11 weeks old. She is now "stable" with disease only on her liver. We will be going back in for a CAT scan on Monday to confirm the disease is still stable.

WE WERE AT THE GARNET MINE ON VACTION IN 2008.

EACH YEAR WE GRAB THE GIRLS AND THE GUYS FOR 3 DAYS.

WE LET THEM KNOW A FEW MONTHS IN ADVANCE WHEN TO TAKE VACATION.

SO THERE ARE NO EXCUSES NOT TO GO.

WHEN KIDS GO ON THIER OWN, YOU HAVE TO SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS TO SEE THEM.

SO I MADE A RULE EVERY YEAR FOR 3 NIGHTS AND 4 DAYS YOUR OURS.

IT IS REALLY THE ONLY TIME WE ALL GET TOGETHER.

WE RENT A CABIN, AND STAY UP LATE LAUGHING AND HAVING A BALL.

I CALL IT MANDATORY CAMPING WEEKEND, OR NO CHRISTMAS GIFTS...LOL..
